Covid-19 Re-Opening Updates For Harris And Dallas County Court Systems

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who has been impacted by COVID-19. Our office recognizes that the global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, communities, businesses, and daily lives. During this time, we would like to update the public on our office and local courts who have likewise been affected by the pandemic.

One way that the Coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted our community is a rise in bankruptcy cases. In an effort to support the local communities during this pandemic, our office is happy to announce that we will be taking on two Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases, pro bono, this year.

Marcum PC has offices in both Harris and Dallas County. The county offices, district, county, and justice courts have all re-opened on a limited basis. All visitors are required to wear face masks and submit to forehead temperature checks. The Courts and county administrative offices are working as swiftly as possible to reset trial dates and coordinate remote hearings where possible.

We will continue to operate our offices with great care and precaution from the coronavirus to ensure that we can help our clients safely and effectively.
